Obituary: TOLUCA -- Anna Christine Norwood, 92, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Toluca and Peoria, died at 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, at Integrated Health Services in Bradenton.
Born June 27, 1905, in Toluca to Candido and Maria Matarelli Flaminio, she married Edgar Norwood on July 27, 1926, in Bloomington. He died Sept. 11, 1928. Two brothers and one grandson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Nancy) Hart of Holmes Beach, Fla.; one son, William Edgar of Minonk; one sister, Philomena Cicciarelli of Peoria; one brother, Albert Flaminio of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She taught grade school in Toluca for 20 years. She then was a secretary at Caterpillar Inc. for 19 years.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Peoria. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Toluca. Aimone-Froelich Memorial Home in Toluca is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary: Lena E. Sterbini, 86, of Springfield died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital.
She was born March 5, 1907, in Springfield, the daughter of Charles and Anna Clara Valeri Flaminio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Dominic Sterbini, in 1955.
Mrs. Sterbini was a member of Christ the King Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Dea R.) Wilson of Owensboro, Ky., and Mrs. Bernard (Silvana) Roseman of Metairie, La.; four grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Flaminio of Springfield; a brother, Louis Flaminio of Springfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which are pending.

Obituary: Arthur E. "Buster" Zellers, 64, of Havana, formerly of Springfield, died Sunday at his home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Springfield, the son of Maxwell and Florence Vincent Zellers. He married Shirley Johnson in 1951; she died in 1990. Mr. Zellers retired from Otis Elevator in 1992.
Survivors: wife, Jo; two sons, Jamie Zellers of Virginia and George H. Dyer of Athens; four daughters, Barbara Flammini of Springfield, Evelyn Guinan and Debra White, both of Petersburg, and Wanda Dyos of Cantrall; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Florence Zellers of Athens; a brother, Steve Zellers of Macomb; a sister, Frances Wilson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside gathering for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sweetwater Cemetery.

Obituary: Irene E. Kelly, 72, of Springfield died Thursday at Heritage Manor.
She was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Nora Antonacci Flammini. She married Amos Calvin Kelly in 1945 in Springfield; he died in 1977.
Mrs. Kelly was a resident of Springfield for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors: three sons, Thomas C., James V. and Joseph A. Kelly, all of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Barbara) McDonald of Girard and Mrs. Steven (Irene) Pasley of Springfield; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Jessie Garrett and Mrs. Walter (Josephine) Chekas, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Obituary: Josephine L. Chekas, 78, of Springfield died Monday at St. John's Hospice. She was born June 2, 1918, in Riverton, the daughter of Joseph and Nora Antonacci Flammini. She married Walter Chekas on Oct. 19, 1944.
A Springfield resident for most of her life, Mrs. Chekas was a homemaker and had worked at Sangamo Electric and Ursuline Convent.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors: husband, Walter C.; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas M. (Terry L.) Mahoney of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Garrett of Springfield; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, the Rev. Pat Render officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
