Obituary:
Doris Elwanda Drake, 68, of Mount Pulaski died at 4:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial
Medical
Center.
She
was born April 5, 1925, in Decatur, the daughter of Raymond Hoaglin and Eunice
Binkley
Hoaglin.
She married Carleton Drake in Lincoln in 1943; he died in January 1993.
Mrs.
Drake was a retired supervisor at GTE and attended Mount Pulaski Christian
Church.
Surviving
are a son, David Ray Drake of Mount Pulaski; a daughter, Debra Ann Ciotti of
Springfield;
three grandchildren; a brother, Robert Hoaglin of Latham; and two sisters, June
Connolley
of Chestnut and Dorothy Fleetwood of Decatur.
Services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski,
the Rev. Marvin Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Jon P. Ciotti, 36, of Springfield died Wednesday at St. John's Hospital. He was
born
Jan.
10, 1961, in Springfield, the son of John P. and Joan Ward Ciotti. He married
Carol B.
Priest
in 1985.
Mr.
Ciotti, a 15-year resident of Springfield, was employed as a fireman for City,
Water, Light
and
Power.
He
was a 1980 graduate of Illiopolis High School.
Survivors;
wife, Carol B.; a daughter, Carolyn Nicole Ciotti of Springfield; a son,
Jonathan P.
Ciotti
of Springfield; parents, John P. and Joan W. Ciotti of Springfield; grandmother,
Rose
Ward
of Springfield; a sister, Jan Ciotti Hankins of Chatham; a brother, Jim D.
Ciotti of
Springfield;
several aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services:
11 a.m. Saturday, Staab Funeral Home, the Revs. Ray Teofrio and Bob Armstrong
officiating.
Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Marguerite Irene Farley, 73, of Springfield died Monday at her residence. She
was
born
Oct. 7, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Catherine Mattchen Hattenhaus Thoburn.
She
married
James Oliver Prinzivalli Farley in St. Charles, Mo., in 1939; he died in 1994.
Survivors:
two sons, James Charles and Wayne Steven Farley; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas
(Katherine
Ann) Egan of Phoenix and Mrs. Larry (Rosemary Irene) Anderson of Pawnee; a
stepdaughter,
Janice Hedgepath; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother,
Charles
Thoburn;
three sisters, Clara Gill, Dorothy Ciotti and Norma Jean Bradley; and several
nieces
and
nephews.
Graveside
services: 10 a.m. Friday, Calvary Cemetery, the Rev. Warren Wilkewitz
officiating.
