Mary E. Ippolito, 83, of Riverton died Sunday at Villa Health Care East,
Sherman.
She
was born Dec. 20, 1911, in Riverton, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ciota
DeMarco.
She
married John A. Ippolito in 1934; he died in 1977. Mrs. Ippolito had been a
lifelong resident
of
Riverton. She was employed by Fiatallis. She was a member of St. James Church,
Riverton.
Survivors:
a son, John C. Ippolito Sr. of Riverton; a grandson; a stepgrandson; seven
step-great-grandchildren;
four sisters, Lenore Ross of Rochester, Ann Seitz of Peoria, Rosalie
Kendall
of Springfield and Julie Bratton of Riverton; two brothers, Angelo and George
DeMarco,
both of Riverton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins Services: Mass, 9 a.m.
Wednesday,

Charles Melvin "Trea" Morgan II, 26, of Springfield died Tuesday in
Riverton.
He
was born April 27, 1970, at Great Lakes Naval Base, Ill., the son of Melvin Lynn
and
Cynthia
Davis Morgan. He married Caprice Camile Ciota in 1995.
A
Springfield resident for most of his life, he was a self-employed artist, a
member of Grace
Lutheran
Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Survivors: wife, Caprice; a son,
William
Harley "Billy" Morgan of Springfield; parents, Melvin and Marguerite
Morgan of Athens
and
Robert and Cynthia Wanless of Riverton; three half sisters, Stephanie and
Melanie Morgan
of
Springfield and Kayla Morgan of Athens; two stepsisters, Jennifer Milner of
Athens and
Sabrina
Michalov of Baltimore; a brother, Henry Morgan of Springfield; a stepbrother,

BUSHNELL - Carl A. Olson, 81, of 670 Cole St. died at 2:27 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11,
1991,
at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born
Sept. 19, 1910, near Blandinsville to Andrew and Florence May Bice Olson, he
married
Beulah
A. Anderson on April 1, 1933, in Blandinsville.
She
survives along with one son, Gustav "Gus" of Galesburg; and two
sisters, Ethel Markham of
LaHarpe
and Mildred Roberts of Macomb. One son, one daughter, three brothers, and four
sisters
preceded him in death.
He
farmed in the Good Hope and Ciota areas for 53 years. He was later a seed corn
salesman at
Watson
Seed Farms in Macomb from 1940-65.
He
also worked at Mid-West Control in Bushnell and C.S. Norcross Co. in Bushnell.
He
was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Macomb.
Services
will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell, the Rev. David
Swan
officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Burial will be in
Glade
City Cemetery, Blandinsville.

Joanna Marie Venzon, 56, of 2108 W. Barker, West Peoria, died at 8:15 p.m.
Monday,
June 15, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born
May 19, 1936, in Peoria to Emmet and Joanna Ciota Dunne, she married John A.
Venzon
on
Aug. 17, 1957, in Peoria.
He
survives, along with two sons, John A. Jr. and Bradford A., both of Peoria; two
daughters,
Andrena
Lynne Venzon of Peoria and Mrs. James (Stephanie) Fussner of Washington; one
brother,
John "Jack" Dunne of Bartonville; and five grandchildren. One
grandchild preceded her
in
death.
A
graduate of Brown's Business School in Peoria, she was secretary-treasurer of
Venzon
Heating
and Air Conditioning in Peoria for 25 years. She later worked for Fritch Heating
and
Cooling
for five years, retiring in April 1992.
She
was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, American Businesswomen's Association
and
Reach
for Recovery.
Services
will be at noon Thursday at her church. The Rev. Robert Schladen will officiate.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, where a rosary
will be
recited
at 7:30. Additional visitation will be one half-hour before services at the
church. Burial will
be
in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials
may be made to the American Cancer Society or Easter Seals.

MORTON -- Anna M. Geier, 101, of Morton Terrace died at 2:25 p.m. Sunday,
Sept.
19, 1993, at the terrace.
Born
Feb. 14, 1892, in Burlington, Iowa, to John and Mary Gahn Jacoby, she married
James W.
Risburg
on Oct. 14, 1912, in Burlington. He died Feb. 11, 1930. She later married
Charles
Geier.
He died Sept. 22, 1966, in Peoria. One daughter, Mildred Kaps, one sister and
one
granddaughter
also preceded her in death.
Surviving
are one daughter, Evelyn Ciota of Washington; four grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren;
two stepgreat- grandchildren; 10 great-great- grandchildren; and three
stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services
will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. The
Rev.
Paul
Tolo will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the chapel.
Burial will be in
Springdale
Cemetery in Peoria.

Born
June 8, 1934, in Peoria to Armond and Evelyn Risburg Ciota, she married Donald
L. Epley
in
Peoria. He survives.

surviving are her mother of Washington; her grandmother, Anna Geier of Peoria;
two
daughters,
Mrs. David (Crystal A.) Mack and Jennifer L. Epley, both of Elk Grove Village;
one
son,
Patrick D. of Elk Grove Village; one brother, Armond B. Ciota of Peoria; and two
grandchildren.
She
was past president of Music Parents of Elk Grove High School.

will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd.,

PEORIA -- John L. "Jack" Dunne, 55, of 5607 Sioux Trail died at 3:20
p.m.
Tuesday,
Dec. 27, 1994, at his residence.
Born
Aug. 19, 1939, in Peoria to Emmet J. and Joanna C. Ciota Dunne, he married Nora
J.
Wamsley
on Sept. 8, 1962, in Peoria. She survives.
Also
surviving are two daughters, Kathleen M. Dunne of Bartonville and Jill A. Dunne
at home;
and
one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
He
was a machine operator at Fleming Potter for 34 years. He was a member of the
board of
directors
of Peoria Graphic Arts Credit Union.
He
was an Air Force veteran.
He
was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bartonville, where services will
be at 10
a.m.
Friday. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Davison-Fulton Woodland
Chapel, with
recitation
of the rosary at 8 p.m. Visitation also will be 30 minutes before services at
the church.
Burial
will be in St. Mary Cemetery in West Peoria.

was an industrial arts teacher at Maine Township High School for 33 years. He

of Illinois State University.

James Richard "Dick" Edmonds, 68, of Bloomington died at 7 a.m.
Thursday at
Northwestern
Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
He
was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Bloomington, the son of Robert and Helen Naylor
Edmonds. He
married
Betty Jean Patterson in 1950. A son preceded him in death.
Mr.
Edmonds was a graduate of the University of Illinois and owner/operator of Copy
Consultants,
retiring in 1986. He was a Presbyterian and a 50-year member of Phi Gamma
Delta.
Surviving
are his wife, Betty Jean of Riverton; seven sons, Robert F. and Michael S., both
of Los
Angeles,
James R. II of Indianapolis, Jeffrey B. and Christopher D., both of Springfield,
Andrew
C.
of Divernon and Timothy J. of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Kathryn S. Ciota,
Riverton,

at St. John's Hospital.
She
was born June 1, 1913, in Bloomington, the daughter of Louis and Margaret Ryan
Vogel.
She
married Julius "Pat" Ciota in 1934; he died in 1976. Also preceding
her in death was a son,
Robert
L., in 1991.
Mrs.
Ciota was a retired registered nurse from St. Francis Convent. She was a member
of St.
James
Church in Riverton.
Surviving
are three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Eileen)
Kaup of
Bloomington;
several nieces and nephews.
Services
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Staab Funeral Home, with the Rev. Barry Harmon
officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
