TOLUCA -- George Litchfield, 69, of Rural Route 1 died at 11:47 a.m. Friday, May
20,
1994, on Route 117 south of Toluca.
Born
May 20, 1925, in Toluca to Ray and Mildred Rithmiller Litchfield, he married
Lucille
Cicciarelli
on April 17, 1943. She died April 11, 1968. He then married Rosemary Divan on
Aug.
23, 1969, in Peoria. She survives.
Also
surviving are his mother of Flanagan; three daughters, Judy Neff of Newburgh,
Ind., Janet
Ricketts
of Canton, Mo., and Barbara Jacob of Chenoa; one brother, Russell of Toluca; and
six
grandchildren.
A
member of Marshall County Farm Bureau, he farmed in the Toluca area all his
life. He also
owned
and operated Litchfield Cabinet Shop in Toluca.
A
World War II Marine Corps veteran, he was a member of Toluca American Legion
Post 440
and
the Knights of Columbus, Streator Council.
He
was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Toluca.
He
was trustee of the Toluca Ambulance and the Toluca Fire & Protection
District, where he
also
served as treasurer.
He
was a former member of the Toluca School Board and the Regional School Board
Trustees.
He
was a former Toluca Precinct committeeman and a former chairman of the Marshall
County
Democratic
Committee for many years.
Services
will be at 11 a.m. Monday at his church. The Rev. James Kretz will officiate.
Visitation
will
be from 3 to 7 tonight at Aimone-Froelich Memorial Home in Toluca, with
recitation of the
rosary
at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, where military rites will be
conducted by
his
American Legion post.
Memorials
may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Janet Ray Cicciarelli, 63, of Riverton died Friday at St. John's Hospital. She
was born
Aug.
18, 1933, in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel Kress Ray Sr. She
married
Gene
Cicciarelli in 1958; he preceded her in death in 1990.
Mrs.
Cicciarelli, a member of St. James Catholic Church in Riverton, retired from
CILCO in
December
1995.
Survivors:
two brothers, Jack and Richard Ray, both of Springfield; four sisters, Virginia
M.
Hostick,
Jean Pape, Camille Isringhausen and Mary Margaret Bracco, all of Springfield;
several
nieces
and nephews. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. James Catholic Church, Riverton,
the
Rev.
David Lantz officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery. Kirlin-Egan and
Butler

Irene Lucille Zara, 83, of Riverton died Monday at St. John's Hospital. She was
born
July
5, 1912, in Riverton, the daughter of Vincent and Arozia Fulgenzi Zara.
She
was a lifelong resident of Riverton. She retired from Fiatallis after 35 years
of service and
was
a member of St. James Church in Riverton. Survivors: two sisters, Mary
Cicciarelli and Mrs.
Henry
(Clara) Pescitelli, both of Riverton; a brother, Louis Zara of Riverton; and
several nieces
and
nephews.
Services:
Mass: 9 a.m. Thursday, St. James Church, Riverton, the Rev. David Lantz
officiating.
